The Indian Coast Guard, offers a challenging and inspiring career for young condidates in various branches as a Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officer in the rank of Assistant Commandant at pay scale of Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs 5400
Unmarried Indian citizens having following positions :- 

1. General Duty  
2. General Duty ( Pilot, Navigator or Observer) 
3. Technical branch (Mechanical/ Aeronautical/ Electrical)

Short Service Appointments:- Short Service Appointments as Assistant Commandant for a period of 08 years, which may be extended to 10 years and further extendable upto 14 years.

1. Pilots (Helicopter and fixed wing) 

• Commercial Pilot License holders

      2. General Duty(Women)
