Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the 5 (five) posts of Software Programmer (purely on contractual basis) in the High Court of Uttarakhand at Nainital
- Software Programmer : 05 posts on contract basis, Pay : Rs. 35000/-, Age : 21 - 42 years as on 01/07/2016.
(1)Educational Qualification: (a)Essential Qualification:-M.Tech./ M.C.A./M.Sc. (Computer Science or Information Technology)/ B.E. /B. Tech. (Computer Science or Information Technology) from a recognized University/Institution as a regular student having proficient knowledge of Unix/Linux/Ubuntu, Php, JAVA, RDBMS packages like PostgreSql and MySql, with minimum two (2) years experience in any Institution or any other establishment or corporation or under taking or any other department in the sphere of Software Dev elopment by the use of Open Source Technology i.e. Unix/Linux/Ubuntu, Php, PostgreSql, MySql with knowledge of Networking and troubleshooting.
ORB.C.A from a recognized University/ Institution as a regular student having proficient knowledge of Unix/Linux/Ubuntu, Php, JAVA, RDBMS packages like PostgreSql and MySql, with minimum four (4) years experience in any Institution or any
other establishment or corporation or under taking or any other department in the sphere of Software Development by the use of Open Source Technology i.e. Unix/Linux/Ubuntu, Php, PostgreSql, MySql with knowledge of Networking and troubleshooting.
(b) Desirable Qualification:-Proficient in troubleshooting Information Technology equipments,Remote Server Management, Cloud Computing, Network Hardware handling, Installation and good exposure of configuring Network Servers, Switches and offering all kinds of Maintenance, network and support services.
(2)Disqualification for appointment:-A person shall not be eligible for appointment :-
(a)if he is not a citizen of India;
(b)if he has been convicted of an offence involving moral turpitude or he is or has been permanently debarred or disqualified by the High Court or the Union Public Service Commission or any State Public Service Commission from appearing for examinations or selections conducted by it;
(c)if he directly or indirectly influences the ‘Selection Committee’ by any means for his candidature.
(d)if he is involved in any kind of criminal case whether convicted or charge-sheeted.
(3) Condition relating to suitability, fitness and character-No person recommended for selection by the Selection Committee shall be appointed:-(a) unless the Appointing Authority is satisfied that he is of good character and is in all respects suitable for appointment to the service;
(b)unless he is certified by the medical authority specified by the High Court that he is medically fit to discharge the duties of the post for which he is selected.
(4) Tenure: –All appointments to the posts shall be purely on contractual basis initially for 6 (six) months. The tenure may be extended further as per policies/guidelines. However, the term may be terminated at any time, if the incumbent is found lacking.
(5)Job Profile:-a.Software Development.
b.Server Management.
c.LAN/WAN Network configuration, Network/Server Security, Firewall configuration and troubleshooting.
d.Remote/Virtual Server Management.
e.Cloud Computing.
f.Any other work assigned by the Authority.
(6)Wages:-The Software Programmer will be entitled for fixed monthly emoluments of Rs. 35,000/-per month.(7)Selection Procedure:-For making selection of Software Programmer, competence would be judged on the basis of the interview. The date, time and venue of interview will be intimated through Website of High court of Uttarakhand i.e. http://highcourtofuttarakhand.gov.in . All the candidates are therefore requested to visit Website of High Court of Uttarakhand on regular basis.
(8)How to apply:-The applicants are required to send their Curriculum Vitae along with one duly attested copy of High School mark sheet, High School Certificate in proof of age/date of birth, Intermediate Mark Sheet, Intermediate Certificate, Graduation/Post Graduation Mark Sheet and relevant experience certificate.
