Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has released a notification and is invited online application for the following position, Lower Division Clerks, Panchayat Secretaries and Stenographers. Interested candidates may check the eligibility criteria and apply online from 02-05-2017 to 15-06-2017.More details about JSSC Recruitment-2017 including number of vacancies, eligibility criteria, selection procedure, how to apply and important dates are given below:

Vacancies Details of JSSC :-
1) Lower Division Clerk :  1,245 posts , Pay Scale –  Rs.19,900-45,700/- per month
2) Panchayat Secretary  : 1,539 posts , Pay Scale –  Rs.21,700-50,000/-  per month
3) Stenographer : 24 posts , Pay Scale –  Rs.19,900-45,700/-  per month

Educational Qualification:-
Lower Division Clerk: Candidates should have Intermediate/10+2, and have typing speed of 25 WPM in Hindi language on computer.
Panchayat Secretary: Candidates should have Intermediate/10+2, and must have basic knowledge of Computer.
Stenographer: Candidates should have Intermediate/10+2, and have stenography speed of 100 WPM and typing speed in Hindi of 30 WPM.

Age Limit (as on 01-01-2017):-
Minimum 18 years and Maximum 35 years (General);
Minimum 18 years and Maximum 37 years (OBC I/BC II);
Minimum 18 years and Maximum 40 years (SC/ST)

Selection Process: -
Written Test and Typing Test.

Application Fee:-
General/OBC candidates have to pay Rs. 460/-
SC/ST candidates have to pay Rs. 125/-
through Online Net Banking, Debit Card or Credit Card.

Age Limit-
The  maximum  age  limit  for  General  candidates  as  on  01.04.2017 will  be  25  years. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST can didates and 3 years for OBC candidates.  

Pay Scale -
Candidates selected against the above position, will be placed in E-II grade, at the minimum of the pay scale of Rs.16400-3%-40500/- (Pre-revised). In addition, they will be entitled to DA, HRA, Conveyance Allowance, Performance Related Pay, Medical Reimbursement and other perquisites as admissible.

Application Fee :The application fee is Rs.500/- for Gen/OBC candidates. SC/ST & PWD candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
