Vacancies Details:-
1.) Training Associate : No. of post- 1, Pay Scale - 40,000/- + HRA
2.) Technical Assistant : No. of post - 4, Pay Scale - 25,000/- Including All.
3.) Senior Research Fellow : No. of post - 2, Pay Scale - 25,000/- + HRA as admissible
4.) Lab Field Assistant : No of post -1, Pay Scale - 10,000/-

Educational Qualification :
>> Technical Assistant : M.Sc (Agriculture/ Horticulture) or Post Graduate in life Science or Experience in developing mobile apps having educational qualifications of B.Tech/ B.E./ M.Tech/ M.Sc with specialization in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ MCA.
>> Senior Research Fellow : M.Sc (Agriculture/ Biotechnolog) or Post Graduate in life Science or Experience in developing mobile apps having educational qualifications of B.Tech/ B.E./ M.Tech/ M.Sc with specialization in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ MCA.
>> Lab cum Field Assistant : 10+2 pass/ Diploma pass. (Working experience in Oil Palm/Plantation Crops)
>> Contractual Persons : Intermediate(10+2)pass/Diploma pass. (Working experience in Oil Palm/Plantation Crops)

Age Limit : Maximum age limit is 40 years for men and 45 years for Women (for serial No. 1) and 35 years for men and 40 years for Women (for serial No. 2 to 9) (as on 01.01.017)

Selection Process : Selection will be based on Written test/ Interview.

About Indian Institute of Oil Palm Research (IIOPR)
Research on Oil Palm under irrigated conditions is practically a new start and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research established the National Research Centre for Oil Palm ( later renamed as Directorate of Oil Palm Research) at Pedavegi in West  Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh on February 19,1995. In  November 2014, the  institute was upgraded as Indian Institute of Oil Palm Research (IIOPR) to cater to oil palm research requirements across the country. IIOPR serves as a centre for conducting and coordinating research on all aspects of oil palm conservation, improvement, production, protection, post-harvest technology  and transfer of technology. This institute has a research centre at Palode near Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
